Weather-Related Closings Policy
Orchard Hill’s weather-related closings policy is partially in accordance with the local school district.
We will delay our opening time by 2 hours if the local school district that your childcare center resides in has a delayed opening or full-day closing.
In the event that the district is open and then closes early; we ask that you arrive at the center to pick your child up before our regular scheduled closing time.
If the local school district where your center resides is on school break/closed for non-weather-related reasons please refer to the below temperature clause:
“threshold of -25 air temperature or -40 windchill”
Please remember that the $1 per minute late-fee applies even in poor weather,
so please allow for a longer commute to the center if the need should arise. Thank you.
